Weald of Kent Labour Launches its 2024 Local Election Campaign

On 2 May important local elections will be held in both Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Borough Councils. Both Councils have wards in the Weald of Kent and we are on the campaign trail aiming to take seats from the Conservatives.

On a sunny morning over the Easter weekend we launched our local election campaign in Staplehurst supporting our excellent candidates Rory Silkin and Julie Skinner. Both have served as Parish and Borough Councillors and have the experience and commitment to push hard on local issues that matter to people living in Staplehurst.
Weald of Kent members were out in force talking to residents and distributing our campaign newsletter ‘The Staplehurst Voice’. In the run up to the election on 2 May more campaign days will be held and volunteers are most welcome…for offers of help click on contact section.
